The Tangalooma resort is the first class way to see Moreton
Island with the resort set in natural surrounds on the western
beach. The resort offers activities, many of which are FREE,
including dolphin feeding, tennis, squash, archery, snorkeling,
fishing, sailing, scuba diving, bush walking, golf driving
net, putting green. The resort caters for everybody with 2
pools, Teens and Kids activities, the Dolphin Education Centre,
fully licensed restaurant, a Beach Café, Bar, Coffee
Shop and general store.
Depart from Brisbane or Scarborough Harbour and enjoy a ferry
cruise across Moreton bay before arriving on Moreton Island’s
west coast – the worlds second largest sand island.
Enjoy Moreton Island 4WD national park Day Tour that takes
you to Moreton Islands Eastern Surf Beach and onto Blue Lagoon.
These sand filtered waters of Blue lagoon (widow lake) and
great spot to relax on the beach or swim in the safe water.
Enjoy a fresh picnic lunch in natures paradise overlooking
the golden eastern surf beach. Travel onto Cape Moreton lookout,
which is over 120 metres high and gives breathtaking views
of the island and the possibility to spot whales, dolphins,
turtles and more. In the afternoon explore honeymoon bay beach
and snorkel the champagne pools, (tides permitting) before
a 4wd trip down the west coast, to Tangalooma resort.
Staying at Tangalooma in recently built Hotel Style units
which feature, air-conditioning, lifts, colour Televisions,
tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer. All units have their
own private balcony perfectly positioned close to the beach
to catch the sea breezes and most have breath taking ocean
views of Moreton Bay. Nightly dining at licensed restaurant
or beach café.
All guests can enjoy nightly dolphin Feeding at the resort.
In the morning enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay, stroll
to the jetty for pelican feeding or relax on the beach. The
rest of the day is yours to enjoy the many Free Resort Activities
including pools, tennis or optional activities suck as snorkeling,
sand boarding, fishing or whale watching. Return to Brisbane
via luxury catamaran across Moreton Bay and into the mouth
of the Brisbane River.

Beach Cabins (Bulwer Township)
Beach cabins are a cheap and comfortable way of staying overnight
at Moreton Island, while not roughing in the wilderness. Situated
at the northern town of Bulwer the beach cabins are a 2-minute
stroll to the western beach and close to the island shop.
Each cabin has 2 bedrooms with 1 double Bed and 4 Bunk Beds,
Kitchen, private bathroom, Colour TV, Fridge and BBQ.
All you need to do is bring your own linen and pillows and
your Moreton island holiday house will take care of the rest.
These are a popular way to stay at Moreton island so please
make sure to book early to avoid disappointment, especially
in holiday and peak times.
